Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1950 Chevrolet 3100 recalls can be found in this database. Additional Description: This 1950 Chevrolet 3100 is a full custom build with sleek chopped body, loaded leather interior, and a nice fuel-injected V8 heart. It all makes for a high-quality package on a head-turning street machine pickup. This Chevy really has a nice look that's meaner than most. The black paint sets the tone correctly with a deep and glossy finish that makes the truck both attractive and mysterious. Adding to this aura is how it's a full blackout package. The color-matched grille, black bumpers, frenched headlights, and black tonneau cover all give this a full midnight look. There's also added sleekness with two inches chopped from the cab. There's also deleted trim, shaved door handles, and a louvered tailgate to give this the look of a slick custom. We particularly love the 17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. They add to the speedy style, and the chrome-like finish make them a true standout against all the darkness. Plus, they also let you mount modern performance tires on this classic custom pickup. Pop the remote door opener, and the mood instantly goes from mean to luxurious. The tan interior gives a tasteful contrast to the black exterior, and it's quite a thoughtful layout. There are impressive details, like the custom door panels and plenty of bright trim. You get great comfort features, like power windows, power locks, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and provisions for air conditioning (will need servicing to sustain a cold charge.) Your seating is done in supple leather, and there's a fold down-center console. The Budnik steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column, and so it gives you a good view of the full VDO gauge panel. The engine bay is ready for showing off, too. The smooth black inner walls coordinate with custom elements like the black Chevrolet valve covers, compressor, alternator and master cylinder. While this looks quite nice, what you'll really love is that this classic truck now has a more modern 350 cubic-inch V8 with fuel injection. It's a quality package that even includes good supporting components, like upgraded pulleys and an aluminum radiator. It fires up readily like a good FI machine should, and the rather straight dual exhaust pipes make a terrific sound. This was built to be a fine driver, and so the suspension has been upgraded with an independent front end and coilovers in the rear. Plus, there's a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/disc up front. Sleek looks, the best comforts, and a proper fuel-injected V8 come together on a well-done Chevy. Total package trucks like this don't come up for grabs too often, so don't miss out. Call now!
